For the last few years I've been working on a personal project. In many large cities, there are messengers. Some are on bikes, some drive and some walk/take transit. They are the lifeblood of the city, and more specifically, the financial district. They pick up and drop off, wait for signatures, get told to use the back entrance, get run off the road, threatened and sometimes killed on the job. Yet they keep going. My work is a celebration of the faces and stories within this dedicated group. They all have different reasons for taking the job, and likewise for sticking with it. Winter, spring, summer and fall they keep things moving. This is dedicated to them.
